Quality goals in SKUP evaluations
Analytical quality goals
Analytical quality goals are determined by SKUP and presented in the protocol and evaluation report. SKUP’s analytical quality goals are predominantly based on international and/or national guidelines. SKUP reviews the relevant quality goals prior to each evaluation and adjusts them if needed. Previously used quality goals can be found in published reports at www.skup.org.
For questions regarding quality goals, please contact the SKUP secretariat.
User-friendliness
User-friendliness is assessed by a structured questionnaire concerning all aspects of the measuring system. The questionnaire covers rating of the following four subareas: 1. Operation facilities. 2. Information in the manual/insert /quick guide, 3. Time factors for the preparation and the measurement, and 4. Internal and external analytical quality control. For each question, the evaluator can choose the response satisfactory, intermediate or unsatisfactory. The quality goal for user-friendliness is a total rating of satisfactory.
